I'll tell you a bit about the Avatar scenes. The place of the most polemical part of the film was in Wylingijyans in China. The place has several labyrinths and some fomations resemble human, figures, plants and animals. Do you own China national parks exemple:
-Park Nacional Florestal de Zhangjiajie, where there is also.
-Reserva Natural de tianzisham and the Reserva Natural de Yangjiajie.
It's good to jump in the hang gliding moutains. Would be a good place for camping, climbing, rappening and take trips and observe the lanscape and nature.
